Confluent Senior Software Engineer II - Product Security Access Management

Job Description

Design and implement secure access management primitives for users and service accounts, along with scalable authorization policies such as RBAC and ABAC. Independently deliver projects to production, collaborate across product, engineering, and security teams, and improve the reliability and security of large-scale systems.

Requirements: Requires at least four years of relevant software, product, or security engineering experience, strong distributed-systems fundamentals, experience building and operating large-scale cloud systems, and knowledge of basic systems operations. Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go, or another statically typed language is required; a master's degree and experience with frontend and backend stacks, security and IAM, or public clouds are preferred.
