Mechanical Engineer 5

Job Description

Review and validate mechanical design packages for industrial construction, coordinate HVAC, plumbing, cooling, and structural interfaces, and ensure compliance with codes and permit requirements. Work with the Engineer of Record, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve RFIs, review submittals, detect clashes, and address design and constructability issues.

Requirements: Requires extensive experience designing and reviewing mechanical systems for industrial or mission-critical facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, process cooling, and cooling water systems. Candidates should have strong knowledge of applicable codes and permitting, experience with RFIs and contractor submittals, and proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination; a PE license is a plus but not required.
