Senior Software Engineer – Data and Platform Tools – Bloomberg Connects

Job Description

Design, build, and operate the distributed services and production infrastructure behind Connects' analytics, search, speech, computer vision, generative AI, and agentic systems. Own deployment and delivery pipelines, contribute to the agentic platform and internal tooling, and guide architecture in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of professional experience designing, developing, and releasing high-quality software using Python, C++, C#, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, plus a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Desired qualifications include cloud platforms and services, Terraform, CI/CD, production distributed systems, AI-assisted engineering, and experience with LLMs, search, vector databases, speech, or computer vision.
