Implement and validate mechanical system innovations through prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and lifecycle analysis, while maintaining CAD files and other engineering documentation. Support platform stability and manufacturing adoption by managing obsolescence risks, applying engineering standards, analyzing performance data, and transferring technical knowledge across teams.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least seven years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience, advanced CAD proficiency, and demonstrated subsystem troubleshooting ability. Candidates should understand design for manufacturing and lifecycle management, manage detailed technical documentation, and be able to travel internationally at least 20% of the time; an advanced degree and relevant industry experience are preferred.
