Design, integrate, test, deploy, and support shipboard electrical instrumentation and control systems for U.S. Navy reactor plants, including maintaining and improving hardware and software designs. Develop operating procedures, troubleshoot system issues, conduct equipment tests and technical evaluations, author reports, and communicate with coworkers, shipyards, management, vendors, and customers.
Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Preferred qualifications include a GPA of at least 3.0, relevant coursework or experience in control systems, power electronics, hardware/software development, or microprocessor-based equipment, programming experience, technical work experience, teamwork, initiative, leadership, and strong communication skills.
