Job Description

Leads the Healthcare Technology Management Service, overseeing its staffing, budget, equipment, policies, and long-range plans while advising executive leadership on technology management. Supervises engineering and support staff and directs medical equipment planning, procurement, installation, maintenance, safety alerts, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in an ABET-accredited engineering curriculum, or Certified Clinical Engineer certification plus a bachelor's degree in another field; qualifying grandfathered VHA employees may also be eligible. Applicants must have at least one year of GS-13-equivalent experience and demonstrate advanced resource management, policy development, operational problem-solving, data use, and leadership skills.
