BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government compliant back office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space Our consultants are experts in Accounting Contracts Human Resources Recruiting \& Sourcing and Strategic Pricing and our passion is guiding our partners toward success within this competitive sector We are working with our client Don Selvy Enterprises DSE to find their next highly skilled Electrical Engineer About DSE DSE Inc is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to engineering training and program management that enables front line soldiers sailors and Marines to fully exploit the tactical capabilities of aviation and maritime platforms We accomplish this by using the most qualified employees and keeping abreast of every new capability in aviation maritime technologies and simulationtraining technology as it emerges Our wide range of expertise is constantly expanding as we seek valued members of the DSE team and work to develop each of them to their fullest potential in the field To this day DSE continues to foster a work environment that supports ingenuity and the care for each member of the team The Role The Electrical Engineer provides technical and engineering support services for the Air Combat Electronics program office at NAVAIR PMA 209 Candidates should have experience with software defined radios including Embedded COMSEC anti jam and SATCOM waveforms Work products include review of ECPs and CDRL documents drafting technical white papers and platform integration plans and testing ARC 210 radio capabilities provided through Collins radio and RCU software releases Why DSE DSE doesnt just ask for your experience it rewards it DSEs PTO program is experience based rather than tenure based meaning the relevant industry experience you bring with you can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one rather than starting over at the bottom like you would at most employers Its a rare structure in this industry where most companies only reward the tenure you earn after you join not the years of expertise you bring with you That same philosophy carries through the rest of the benefits package Starting salary range 129000 to 160000 annually100 company paid medical and dental premiums for employees 50 for dependents401k with up to a 4 company matchFully paid life short term and long term disability insurance no cost to youEmployer funded FSA plus HRA contributions toward your deductibleExperience based PTO your prior relevant experience can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one plus the option to purchase additional PTO11 paid holidays 6 national 5 floatingTuition reimbursement to support continued professional growthResponsibilities Engineering and Development Investigate analyze design develop implement test and evaluate military weapons systems using advanced engineering principles and toolsEnsure designs meet operational requirements addressing both functional and performance specificationsEvaluate and select appropriate technologies and methodologies for optimal system integration and performanceTechnical Documentation and Analysis Review and prepare detailed engineering and technical analyses change proposals feasibility studies and other technical documentationDevelop technical reports that provide recommendations for design modifications system improvements or resource allocationsSystems Integration and Testing Perform critical systems integration to ensure seamless interaction between components and subsystemsLead quality assurance testing troubleshooting and validation to maintain compliance with performance standardsRecommend and prepare inputs for test plans procedures and acceptance criteria ensuring thorough evaluation of system functionalityProcess Improvement Develop and standardize processes by writing detailed procedures work instructions and design practice criteriaIdentify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracyPerformance Evaluation Evaluate technical specifications ensuring alignment with stringent military standards and performance requirementsAnalyze performance metrics to identify risks resolve technical challenges and enhance system reliability and functionalityRequired Education Bachelor of Science degree in Math Physics Computer Science or an Engineering discipline;
