Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Lead the design and implementation of mechanical HVAC and utility systems for complex life sciences facilities, serving as project lead from feasibility and building assessments through detailed engineering. Manage project scope, budgets, staffing, schedules, and deliverables while mentoring design teams and ensuring quality, code compliance, and design excellence.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years of mechanical engineering and HVAC design experience in building design, and at least 4 years leading or supervising multidisciplinary engineering and design teams. Candidates should be proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, load calculation and energy analysis tools, and have strong knowledge of HVAC and utility generation systems, building codes, and construction processes.
