Principal Electrical Engineer - RF

Job Description

Lead the design, integration, calibration, commissioning, and operation of RF, plasma diagnostic, and high-voltage electrical systems for fusion generators. Analyze experimental data, improve instrumentation and workflows, collaborate across technical teams, and provide strategic leadership and mentorship.

Requirements: An advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics, plasma science, or a related field is required, with a Ph.D. preferred. Candidates need 10 or more years of hands-on experimental engineering experience, including RF systems, high-voltage measurement hardware, pulsed systems, and power electronics, along with demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration skills.
