Controls Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, implement, test, and deploy production software for automated calibration, image processing, machine data handling and storage, supervisory controls, and operator interfaces. Collaborate with software, controls, systems, and other engineering teams to define interfaces, review code, document decisions, plan tests, and communicate progress and risks.

Requirements: Candidates must have experience building and testing production software in a team, independently delivering moderately complex features, and writing clean, documented code using source control and code review. They should understand testing, debugging, logging, and software failure modes, and be able to translate engineering needs into practical software; experience in computer vision, calibration, robotics, data systems, controls, hardware, or real-time systems is a plus.
