Design, analyze, and support testing of naval nuclear propulsion components and technologies, including secondary systems and reactor plant structures. Improve manufacturing processes and coordinate mechanical engineering work with multidisciplinary propulsion plant teams to support development of next-generation nuclear propulsion plants.
Requirements: Applicants need a bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering, or science field and at least four years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree and two years of relevant experience, a doctorate, or qualifying current company engineering roles are accepted. Strong written and verbal communication, the ability to explain complex technical concepts, and project management skills are preferred; candidates must be U.S. citizens and meet federal background and classified-access eligibility requirements.
