Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure - Moveworks (New Grad)

Job Description

Design, build, and operate reliable core infrastructure and foundational services, including distributed data stores, authentication, event streaming, configuration management, and traffic controls. Partner with machine learning, search, product, data, and frontend teams to improve observability, reliability, performance, and scalability, while delivering interdependent projects on deadline.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field is required, along with strong problem-solving and programming fundamentals in at least one backend language. Candidates should understand data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, RESTful services, distributed architectures, concurrency, networking, scalability, caching, messaging, containers, and cloud platforms; experience with technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and Istio is a plus.
