Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Description

Design and architect security systems that support Aurora’s safety goals, and lead hands-on implementation of security systems for its autonomous vehicle platform. Integrate security capabilities with partner teams and OEMs, contribute to security reviews and release security, and mentor engineers across security and other disciplines.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; at least 8 years of software engineering experience and 2 years in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry. Candidates should be able to write production-quality C++ and Go, apply cryptographic and infrastructure security practices, lead projects, and collaborate effectively across teams.
