Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Description

Architect and implement security systems and frameworks for Aurora’s autonomous vehicle platform and related cloud services, supporting the company’s safety goals. Lead security integration with partner teams and OEMs, contribute to security reviews and release readiness, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires a degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; production-quality C++ and Golang development skills; at least 8 years of software engineering experience and 2 years in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry. Candidates should be able to lead projects, collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and apply cryptographic, infrastructure, and network security practices.
