Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Description

Architect and implement security systems and frameworks for Aurora’s autonomous vehicle platform and related cloud services, including hands-on leadership of vehicle security development. Integrate security capabilities with partner teams and OEMs, contribute to security reviews and release security, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; at least 8 years of software engineering development and 2 years in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry. Candidates should be able to write production-quality C++ and Go, apply cryptographic and infrastructure/network security practices, lead projects, and collaborate across teams.
