Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, and test data-center networking features for the Cisco 8000 platform using the SONiC network operating system. Build data-plane and control-plane software, develop forwarding and services features, and write clean, maintainable C++ and Python code.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience, a master's degree and 4 years, or a PhD and 1 year; also requires at least 3 years of C/C++ programming, 2 years of Python test automation experience, and 2 years of Linux experience. Preferred qualifications include Linux kernel and open-standard networking knowledge, networking protocols, debugging tools, and familiarity with Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
