Perform electrical studies, SCADA, protection, communications, and control-system design or configuration for power generation, substations, transmission, and distribution projects. Prepare technical reports and project documentation, support risk assessment and field-work coordination, and assist with testing, commissioning, and remediation activities.
Requirements: Requires an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or computer engineering; 3–5 years of relevant industry experience; and an Engineer in Training certificate. Candidates should understand electrical engineering and power-system fundamentals and demonstrate analytical, communication, organizational, safety, and technical-writing skills; a master's degree and progress toward PE registration are preferred.
