Own the mechanical design of thermophotovoltaic hardware from concept through production, including designing, prototyping, and testing cold plates and removable TPV module attachments. Develop suppliers, manage sourcing and quality, drive design-for-manufacturing and cost reduction, and qualify and document hardware for reliable production and service.
Requirements: Requires at least five years of mechanical engineering experience, including taking hardware from prototype to production, with strong manufacturing, supplier-management, drawing, GD&T, CAD, and hands-on prototyping expertise. Candidates should have experience with liquid-cooled or thermally loaded hardware, thermal analysis and testing, cross-disciplinary design reviews, and day-to-day use of AI tools; a mechanical engineering or related degree and onsite availability are required.
