Develop and maintain electrical materials specifications, construction standards, and equipment guidance for the electric distribution system, including analyzing equipment failures and recommending reliability improvements. Provide technical support and training to staff, assist with bids and system planning, and review the work of lower-level engineers.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, or equivalent education and experience, is specified; two years of progressively responsible electric power distribution engineering experience is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of electric utility engineering and strong analytical, communication, technical writing, software, and customer service skills; an Electrical Professional Engineer registration is desired.
