Materials Engineer - Interiors

Job Description

Lead material approvals across active categories and execute a materials compatibility design-of-experiments program, including sample preparation, lab coordination, data interpretation, protocol development, and technical reporting. Partner with engineering, CMF, suppliers, and external labs to develop and validate new appearance applications, draft performance specifications, and support product launches.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or an equivalent field is required; a master's degree is a plus. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience and be able to independently manage workstreams, coordinate suppliers and labs, and collaborate effectively in a startup environment.
