Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

Job Description

Design, build, and operate scalable self-service data infrastructure for batch and streaming workloads, owning pipeline reliability, data quality, schema evolution, and platform observability. Set the platform roadmap and technical standards, partner with cross-functional teams on data contracts and governance, manage incidents, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: Requires 5+ years of experience building and operating production data infrastructure, strong system design skills, and proficiency in Python or Java/Kotlin. Candidates should have production experience with a cloud data warehouse, workflow orchestration, Terraform, a streaming technology, dbt, data observability, and governance in a regulated environment.
