Perform electrical studies, SCADA and communications work, protective relaying, and power system control design for generation facilities, substations, and transmission and distribution systems. Prepare technical reports and documentation, support project planning and field work, and assist with risk assessment, design, commissioning, and remediation activities.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or computer engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 3–5 years of relevant industry experience. Candidates should understand electrical engineering and power system fundamentals, communicate effectively, produce technical documentation, and work independently and collaboratively; an EIT certification and relevant power systems coursework are preferred.
