### About Rumi

Rumi is a $100M+ funded neobank transforming consumer and business finance in Mexico and Latin America, building banking, point-of-sale lending and merchant tools on top of a regulated Mexican bank license.

### The Role

Rumi is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (4-8+ years) as one of its first engineering hires in San Francisco. You will own features end to end across greenfield products, from a merchant operating system (payroll, point of sale, inventory) to an AI-powered WhatsApp financial assistant.

### What You Will Do

* Build and own full-stack features from UI to backend to deployment across banking, merchant and consumer products.
* Architect and scale services for lending, payments, pay-in/payout and ledger systems.
* Build SMB workflow tools (payroll, point of sale, inventory) integrated with a regulated bank.
* Use AI tooling to accelerate the development lifecycle on a modern TypeScript and React stack.
* Ship rapidly with product, design and a small engineering team.

### What You Bring

* 4-8+ years as a full-stack engineer
* Production TypeScript, React and Node.js
* Experience with SQL databases and message queues
* Comfort owning greenfield products end to end

### Nice to Have

* Payments, ledger or lending systems
* Spanish language skills
