Mid Level Platform Engineer for Aerospace Firm

Job Description

Build and optimize reliable backend applications, REST APIs, AWS infrastructure, and automated CI/CD pipelines for aerospace operations. Embed observability and recovery capabilities, collaborate across engineering teams, review code, and participate in a shared standby rotation supporting real-time mission workflows.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a technical systems field, plus 3–6 years of software development experience. Candidates should have backend programming skills, production AWS experience, Infrastructure-as-Code and Docker experience, familiarity with Git, and strong accountability and communication skills.
