Manage engineers from other disciplines and perform electrical engineering work across energy projects, including system studies and design for microgrids, battery storage, photovoltaic systems, and medium- and low-voltage distribution. Develop engineering drawings and specifications, size and select equipment, coordinate with vendors, and conduct project site visits.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university and 2–8 years of experience, preferably in industrial, water/wastewater, federal, or power generation projects. Candidates should be able to develop drawings and specifications, perform engineering calculations, design medium- and low-voltage systems, and use ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower and AGI or Visual Lighting; AutoCAD/Revit and FE or PE credentials are noted depending on experience.
