Mechanical Engineer, Innovation

Job Description

Design and evaluate innovative geothermal heating and cooling solutions, assessing technical feasibility, customer value, equipment performance, and economic viability. Lead modeling, prototyping, and experiments, then translate findings into product requirements and technical materials to support customer pilots, commercialization, and scale-up.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience in HVAC, data center design and operation, hydronics, geothermal, or mission-critical mechanical design and analysis are required. Candidates should have strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics; proficiency with energy modeling tools and Excel; the ability to independently develop ambiguous concepts; familiarity with AI tools; and basic Python coding ability or willingness to learn quickly.
