Expert Engineer, ATS Grid Technology

Job Description

Develop and execute solutions to complex grid engineering problems through power system analysis, engineering studies, modeling, and hardware-in-the-loop testing of emerging technologies. Evaluate technology performance, prepare reports and recommendations, improve testing processes, collaborate with PG&E teams and external stakeholders, and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least seven years of related experience; a master's degree in electrical engineering and a Professional Engineer license are desired. Candidates should bring power system modeling and HIL testing experience, strong analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills, and the ability to work safely around high-voltage equipment.
