Staff Mechanical Engineer (Secret Clearance) 18276

Job Description

Lead conceptual and preliminary mechanical design and technology maturation for cruise missile launcher capsules and support subsystems, overseeing integration, design analyses, trade studies, and technical data packages. Coordinate suppliers and stakeholders, manage technical risks and configuration changes, and advise program leadership and customers while advancing digital engineering and continuous improvement.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline, at least 12 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance; the candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and SAP approval. Candidates need expertise in mechanical design and analysis for complex aerospace or missile systems, plus proficiency in 3D/2D CAD and GD&T; leadership, supplier-management, and Top Secret clearance experience are preferred.
