Civil Engineer (General)

Job Description

Review mining permit applications and engineering plans for compliance with laws, engineering standards, and environmental requirements. Assess drainage, stability, reclamation, and subsidence controls; coordinate site reviews; and provide technical guidance and recommendations to support safe operations and protect the public and environment.

Requirements: Applicants must meet one of the listed combinations of civil engineering experience, education, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate, or have completed the Civil Engineer Trainee program. A valid driver’s license and Pennsylvania residency are also required.
