Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform (Rust)

Job Description

Lead development of Hercules's platform-as-a-service, including its database-like object model, scalable backend services, and APIs and SDKs for AI agents. Build and operate reliable customer application infrastructure with strong tenant isolation, observability, failure resilience, and optimized performance.

Requirements: Candidates should have strong software fundamentals, including system design, architecture, data modeling, API design, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code in monorepos. They should be highly capable with Rust, data systems, distributed multi-tenant infrastructure, performance optimization, and using frontier AI coding tools to substantially improve their workflow.
