Staff Software Engineer, Government Programs

Job Description

Design, build, operate, and evolve scalable, reliable software platforms and infrastructure for government programs, including deployment in classified environments and compliance with security and accreditation requirements. Lead architecture and multi-month technical initiatives, improve production performance and reliability, define engineering standards and metrics, and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, plus 10 or more years of software engineering experience and strong production proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust. Candidates should have depth in distributed systems, backend or platform development, mission-critical services, cloud-native infrastructure, technical leadership, and mentoring; an active U.S. security clearance is required, with TS/SCI preferred.
