Senior Software Engineer, IR Data Products

Job Description

Build, operate, and optimize production pipelines and services that process infrared satellite data into calibrated imagery, geospatial products, and wildfire data, with a focus on reliability, low latency, and observability. Develop geospatial data discovery, serving, and visualization tools, and partner with scientists and engineering teams to productionize research code and maintain testing and release processes.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years, a master's degree and 6+ years, or a PhD and 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience. Candidates need production Python and cloud pipeline experience, workflow orchestration and containerization skills, strong testing and CI/CD practices, production observability experience, and hands-on knowledge of geospatial libraries and formats.
