Job Description

Lead or support mechanical packaging and design development for xEV motors, coordinating customer requirements with global engineering teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers. Support validation, prototype builds, production launches, cost and quality improvements, technical documentation, quoting, and project budgets.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least five years of practical experience designing automotive components, and at least three years of traction motor product experience. Candidates should have 3-D CAD and 2-D drawing skills, mechanical CAE experience, knowledge of electrified vehicle systems, and strong project, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities; a master’s degree and English-Japanese fluency are preferred.
