Mechanical Engineer, Structures - Robot Hands

Job Description

Design, analyze, prototype, and validate structural parts and assemblies for robot hands, ensuring they meet load, durability, manufacturability, and packaging requirements. Coordinate with actuator, sensing, electronics, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to resolve failures and take designs through new product introduction and production.

Requirements: Requires at least two years of structural or mechanical engineering experience at a high-tech company and a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Candidates should have expert 3D CAD skills, end-to-end structural design experience, knowledge of analysis and materials, experience shipping hardware at scale, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
