Senior Platform Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, build, test, and operate platform components, APIs, SDKs, and integration frameworks, owning a defined area and maintaining secure, compatible interfaces. Improve reliability, performance, and operability; troubleshoot service issues; collaborate with OCI teams; and provide documentation and adoption guidance.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, and at least four years of professional software-development experience (with fewer years potentially accepted for advanced degree holders). Candidates should be proficient in an object-oriented or systems language and have experience with backend services or platform capabilities, distributed systems, API design and versioning, testing, source control, and production troubleshooting.
