Senior Mechanical Engineer - Structural/Thermal Analysis

Job Description

Lead complex structural and thermal analyses, including finite element modeling and simulation, to assess and improve the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of mission-critical products. Set analysis approaches, guide design decisions, lead technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and communicate findings and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and at least eight years of relevant experience are required, along with demonstrated structural FEA, modal, vibration, shock, static, and heat-transfer analysis experience. Candidates must be able to develop efficient approaches to complex problems, communicate effectively, and be eligible to obtain a Secret DoD clearance; a master’s degree and experience with listed analysis tools and electronics are preferred.
