Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Assist with the design and modeling of electrical power and control systems for the Joule Hive thermal battery, and develop a CAD framework that integrates its architecture, components, and subsystems. Support equipment and control-system testing, lead field activities for installation and commissioning, troubleshoot electrical issues, and maintain project documentation and stakeholder updates.

Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering and 1–3 years of professional engineering experience are required, with co-op experience considered. Candidates should have grounding in electrical engineering fundamentals and proficiency with circuit modeling software, CAD, Python or a similar language, and Microsoft Office; medium-voltage system experience and renewable energy or thermal storage experience are advantageous.
