Staff Software Engineer

Job Description

Lead hands-on Android platform development, spending approximately 80% of the time coding and the remainder on architecture, technical design, and implementation. Build scalable architectures, developer tools, and AI-enabled workflows; guide technical decisions, review designs, mentor engineers, and ensure production-ready code through testing.

Requirements: Requires 8+ years of professional Android development experience, including 3+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role, with deep Kotlin expertise and experience in modern Android development and build systems. Candidates should have experience building reusable developer tools or components, implementing AI development workflows, mentoring engineers, and communicating technical tradeoffs; MCP or similar AI integrations are highly desirable.
