Sr. Staff Software Engineer, Splunk Security Core AI, Agentic SOC (hybrid)

Job Description

Lead the technical direction and hands-on development of shared agentic AI platforms, orchestration, evaluation, and security capabilities across Cisco and Splunk products. Establish measurable quality and safety practices, design for diverse deployment environments, and guide cross-team adoption while mentoring senior engineers.

Requirements: Requires at least six years of production software development, testing, or operations experience, experience with large-scale distributed or AI-enabled systems, and programming experience in Python or Go. Requires a bachelor's degree plus 10 years, a master's degree plus six years, or a PhD plus three years of related experience; preferred qualifications include agentic AI, evaluation systems, security operations, and cross-team technical leadership experience.
