Sr. Staff Software Engineer, Splunk Security Core AI, Agentic SOC (hybrid)

Job Description

Lead the technical direction and hands-on development of shared agentic security platforms, including runtime, orchestration, governed tool use, context and memory, evaluation, and trace analysis. Establish measurable quality and safety practices, architect for diverse deployment environments, and guide cross-team adoption while mentoring senior engineers.

Requirements: Requires at least six years of experience developing, testing, or operating production software, experience with large-scale distributed or AI-enabled systems, and programming experience in Python or Go. Requires a bachelor's degree plus 10 years of related experience, a master's degree plus six years, or a PhD plus three years; preferred qualifications include agentic AI evaluation, security operations knowledge, and cross-team technical leadership.
