Senior Mechanical Drives Engineer

Job Description

Lead the design, analysis, validation, and production release of marine drivetrain systems, including gears, shafts, bearings, housings, seals, and shift systems. Investigate field and manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate across functions to improve reliability, quality, performance, and cost.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and at least seven years of relevant mechanical design, drivetrain, or power transmission experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of drivetrain components, root cause analysis, validation testing, engineering documentation, and GD&T, with project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
