Lead Software Engineer - Backend Java, AWS

Job Description

Lead the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of secure, high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and AWS, while supporting stable and scalable production systems. Guide the team’s responsible use of approved AI-assisted engineering tools, improve automation and operational resilience, and evaluate technical solutions with internal and external partners.

Requirements: Requires formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least five years of applied experience, including hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational support. Candidates need advanced Java experience, Spring Boot and AWS expertise, leadership in responsible AI-assisted development, knowledge of agile practices, CI/CD, security, resiliency, financial services IT, and cloud-native development.
