**About the Role**

We are seeking **Flight Software Engineers** to design, develop, integrate, and test high-performance real-time embedded software for advanced flight systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building robust software for **demanding, safety-critical environments**, while working closely with GNC, systems, and hardware teams.

We're looking for engineers who enjoy solving difficult **real-time systems problems** and can develop reliable flight software while working closely with hardware, GNC, and systems engineering teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- -----------------------
* Design, develop, and test **real-time embedded flight software**.
* Collaborate with GNC engineers, systems engineers, and hardware teams.
* Develop and maintain software for high-reliability and safety-critical environments.
* Support **simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight testing**.
* Participate in root-cause analysis and debugging across software and system interfaces.
* Follow rigorous software lifecycle and configuration-management practices.
* Support software verification and validation activities.
* Contribute to development processes, tools, and engineering standards.
* Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices relevant to flight software and real-time systems.
**Required Qualifications**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
* C/C++ programming experience.
* Experience with RTOS.
* Understanding of hardware/software integration.
* Familiarity with real-time system constraints.
* Experience with **GNC systems or other control-intensive applications**.
* Strong understanding of simulation and HIL testing.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
* Active or eligible for a Top Secret security clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications**

* Flight software experience for **missile, launch vehicle, or spacecraft systems**.
* FPGA-based systems experience.
* Embedded software optimization experience.
* Secure software development or cybersecurity knowledge.
* Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies.
* Hands-on software verification, validation, and integration experience in defense environments.
