Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Lead the design, development, maintenance, and configuration management of mechanical systems at mission-critical facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure. Produce and review design documents, conduct engineering analyses, coordinate with cross-functional teams, maintain site documentation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements: Requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, at least 10 years of relevant mechanical systems experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of experience or a master’s degree with 10+ years; equivalent additional experience may substitute for a degree. Candidates should have expertise in HVAC and plumbing design, AutoCAD, building codes, load calculations, ductwork and piping design, and FMCS, plus an active PE license or the ability to obtain one within a year.
