AI Scientific Software Engineer - Pipeline Pilot

Job Description

Develop the MARIE AI-powered scientific companion for BIOVIA products, particularly Pipeline Pilot, by designing prompts and building agentic workflows that support tool use, reasoning, memory, and multi-step task execution. Implement safety, monitoring, and validation mechanisms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases using Agile practices.

Requirements: Requires a PhD in Life Sciences or Computer Science and at least three years of software development experience, including relevant AI/ML development. Candidates should have experience with LLMs, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, prompt evaluation, agentic AI frameworks, and Pipeline Pilot or similar software; pharmaceutical, biotech, cheminformatics, or computational chemistry experience is a plus.
