Sr. Robotics Software Engineer - Vision And Automation Services

Job Description

Define and advance robotics engineering capabilities and processes across GM Manufacturing IT, identifying opportunities and delivering scalable, end-to-end robotics solutions. Develop and deploy machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and simulation solutions in real-world manufacturing environments, collaborating with engineering partners and traveling to GM facilities as needed.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of professional robotics software development experience are required. Candidates should know Python, Java, ROS, MoveIt, linear algebra, and computer vision; travel of approximately 20–25% is required.
