Staff Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Lead the mechanical and thermal design of modular high-temperature reactors, validating performance and reliability through calculations, simulations, and instrumented testing. Simplify designs for manufacturing and maintenance, lead prototyping and commissioning, and guide the mechanical engineering team and cross-functional design decisions.

Requirements: Candidates need proficiency in Fusion CAD, hands-on metal machining and shop-tool experience, and experience with high-temperature systems and/or vacuum hardware. The role also requires precise execution, independent work in a fast-paced environment, and availability to start soon; chemistry or physics coursework or experience is preferred.
