Sr Principal Software Engineer,

Job Description

Lead the full software lifecycle for medical device products, including requirements, architecture, implementation, verification, release, and sustaining support. Set technical direction, manage product risks, ensure regulatory and quality compliance, and guide cross-functional teams through development and field issue resolution.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline (or equivalent education and experience), plus 10 or more years developing embedded software for complex products. Candidates should have strong embedded C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux, kernel/driver, networking, and architecture expertise, along with technical leadership and experience in regulated development; an advanced degree and medical device standards or regulatory submission experience are preferred.
