Staff Software Engineer - Core Platform

Job Description

Own the technical strategy and architecture for streaming and nonrelational storage platforms, including leading the migration from Azure to an AWS-native, Kafka-compatible platform. Ensure reliability, governance, and operational excellence for critical infrastructure while supporting adoption across service teams and mentoring engineers.

Requirements: Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership of large-scale distributed systems, deep expertise in Kafka or compatible streaming platforms, and experience operating production infrastructure at scale. Candidates should have led cross-team platform migrations and be experienced with cloud storage and NoSQL systems; mentoring experience and listed bonus technologies are advantageous.
