Mechanical Engineer 2

Job Description

Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for renovation and construction projects, and review drawings, calculations, reports, and cost estimates. Prepare CAD construction documents, provide technical guidance, and assess sites and project requirements to support construction and facility improvements.

Requirements: Applicants must meet one of the stated mechanical engineering experience and education or Engineer-in-Training pathways, hold a valid driver’s license, and have at least one year of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software. They must also meet the specified hydronic heating/cooling or plumbing design experience requirement, satisfy Pennsylvania residency requirements, and pass the required Fort Indiantown Gap screening.
